I have to go to school for a workshop from 8:30am-2pm and then afterwards…

I am going in for a haircut.

It seems like the older I get, the less social I have become. Back in the days, it was very easy for me to approach anyone and everyone and carry on a conversation like no other. Now, I just don’t feel like socializing as much, maybe because I’m exhausted all the time from school and work. Being around people does energize me tho. I remember the days in the Bay Area how I loved going anywhere and always running into people I knew or when someone calls me for something and I know who to turn to for the answer if I didn’t have the answer or recruiting volunteers to help me at any of the non-profit events that I attended. These days, what energizes me most is a good night’s rest. I’m hoping that when school ends, I can go back to organizing functions, keeping better contact with people, and volunteering again.

It seems like the older I get, the less I care about trying to control everything. This is a good thing. Back in the days, I always had to have control. But I think with age, you just have to learn to let go.

And this is an obvious one…the older I get, the more my memory has been deteriorating. Any of my friends can vouch that I have the memory of an elephant. But now, I have more stuff to retain and thus things have been escaping.
