mission statement

Filed under: Uncategorized — anny @ 9:31 pm

(Sidenote: My mission statement is always in flux b/c i keep revising it as i learn and go through life’s many changes, but here is the rough draft…)

To live, to love, to learn, and to leave a legacy.
The key roles that I play in my everyday life are:
1. Family Member
2. Friend
3. Student
4. Employee
5. Community Member
6. Financial Manager

In the above key roles, I live whole-heartedly with the following purpose:
-To build healthy, loving relationships in which all of us can become our very best
-To appreciate everything given to us in life and to never take any of it for granted
-To promote learning and growth and keep a positive attitude in all the different good and bad experiences all of us go through
-To remember, to understand, and to keep an open mind that all of us operate on different paradigms, never holding that against anyone, and to encourage all of us to do the same, but to also practice open communications and share our paradigms whenever we feel a need to
-To take accountability for my actions and the choices I make and to execute without excuses
-To treasure all of our memories from the past, to encourage all of us to live the fullest in the present, and to plan for a happy future
-To be me, the me that I know best how to be, and to be true to me even through situations that will test me so I can be there for others and encourage them to do the same and be true to themselves

(Any reference to “all of us” signifies everyone, including myself, who are affected by the different roles I play.)

  1. Glad to have you back in blogging land. Ahem, me being the biter that I am…may just have to adopt your
mission statement in whole, or some part of it. I think this is a great idea…something that will
keep you in check with who you are and what you’re doing. However, Anny I think you’re 99 - 110% in
fulfilling your mission statement everyday that I’ve known you. Sooo, keep up the good work!
