Okay okay…yes yes, I was going to blog everyday but having all this free time, I just want to do nothing…but since bao bao is holding me to it…I will just have to give an update of my days…

Monday: Woke up at 8, went to Costco to get gas, dropped off 9 skirts at dry cleaners, went to gym, talked to bao bao on phone, went to get facial, came home and ate, took a nap, went shopping at the mall, came home and watched highlights of the NWE vs BAL game, went to sleep

Tuesday: Woke up, dropped off 5 winter coats at dry cleaners, went to gym, talked to bao bao on phone, talked to a classmate on phone, went to Japanese market and bought sashimi, came home and ate, talked to shelby and nancy on phone, could not study at home so packed my stuff and headed to school to study

Wednesday: Woke up, bummed around for I don’t know how long, ate lunch at 10:30am, watched E! True Hollywood Story on Lacy Peterson, took a shower, chatted online, started reading and studying for Stat Quiz at 1-2, went to meet up with classmates at 7pm to study

Thursday: Today…I’m going to watch the Pianist right now, then eat, take shower, and probably head to school to study…

Tomorrow: Pick up clothes from dry cleaners, go to gym, I’m probably going to go get a massage, go to blockbuster to return the 3 online videos, and bum around for the rest of the day…

Yes, I am definitely enjoying my idle time…living with dai, she always took a month off when she was switching between jobs. I never knew how wonderful that time off was until now. The summer after high school, I was working at China Airlines. Then I started college. During sophomore year, I started working at the Bear Student store, then at Wells Fargo. Junior year, I got an intern at Well’s Fargo’s corporate office. I took classes every summer in college and after I graduated, I still took classes at UCB Extension even as I was working. So basically, I have always been in school/working ever since I can remember…never having any break. This is the first time I have been unemployed since 9+ years ago…but I still have classes until December 15…so after that, I may be unemployed and not going to school for the first time since kindergarten or something…

So, yes, I am trying to enjoy this time as much as possible!

I know it was a great great game…too bad I was in class…but during breaks and before class started, I was streaming the game from nfl.com. And of course, throughout class, I was refreshing my phone every 15 minutes to check the score…

I’m sure I’ll get to watch the game next week b/c NFL Network will probably air it in NFL Replay…and I’ll be unemployed next week so will be able to watch it.

I took yesterday, today, and Thursday off. I’m starting to like this leisurely lifestyle. Maybe I will have an extended break soon…if that’s the case, I’ll blog everyday!

On Sunday night during a dinner banquet, the dean of the school congratulated the room of 300 students for surviving academic hazing. Upon hearing that, I smiled for two reasons:
#1: I agreed with her that we were academically hazed.
#2: I survived!!!

We had a lot to read and a lot to do. Most of us were operating on little or no sleep, especially with a case competition where they gave us a case on Saturday at 5pm and expected us to compete the next morning. As tired as I was (I didn’t sleep Saturday night), as I was sitting in that room looking around at my also tired classmates, I felt such a great feeling of comradery. Everyone around me went through the same things I did and the support from those classmates is something that I can’t explain in words. It could only be felt.

The two weekends brought back memories of the days in college during pledging. It is weird how when you put a group of people in stressful situations, the result of it can come out with something so wonderfully great.

Back when I was 21 or 22, I was telling a story to a bunch of coworkers about a guy who was molesting me on the BART. The coworkers asked me how old the guy was and I said, “I don’t know, he’s middle age, around 30.” To this day, those coworkers still make fun of me for that comment because with people living longer, middle age should be in the 40s or 50s. I can’t believe the past 6-7 years have passed by so fast and that I am one year closer to middle age…

My freedom ended last Thursday when I went to the orientation and picked up what I’m supposed to read by August 3rd:

Because I already made some plans this weekend, I couldn’t start reading yet…so this past weekend I played…

Friday night I had dinner with Jane. I took my camera to dinner but forgot to take a picture. Afterwards, I took the camera out of the bag to charge it for the night, but ended up forgetting to put it back into my bag…and thus, I didn’t take the camera to Vegas. Yes, I am so retarded for forgetting my camera when I am the paparazzi. I ended up buying a disposal film camera. (who knows when I will go and develop those pictures.)

Then, we went to Ms. Nicholle’s Wedding in Paris…I met her hubby Nick for the first time and her son Colin. He is a cutie! (Good thing I had my handy dandy Blackjack and was able to take a couple of pix. I’ll post pix from the disposal after I develop it.)

I played Texas Holdem for the very first time in Vegas. It was quite interesting. I will have to play again during Labor Day Weekend.

We then went to Nicholle’s reception and then drove back to LA after that. I got home around 1:30am. It took only 3.5 hours. I say ‘only’ b/c if we had driven back Sunday Morning, it would have probably taken us 7-8 hours because of all the traffic.

On Sunday, I met up with Pammy and Triz for lunch at Chan Dara. (I cut out my arms b/c they are fat!)

Then for dinner, I met up with Janete. I have not seen this girl for a long long time, but I have known her since 6th grade. We reminsced about our middle school days from ACI, high school days at West, and college days at Berkeley. (I cut out my arm again!)

Last month, it was my godson Prestie’s 1st bday…this month is my brother’s godson’s 1st bday…

He’s such a little pimp…

So, he actually went to where the drinks were and started pulling out the MGDs and putting the can into his mouth…he takes after his parents…(don’t worry, he has never drank alcohol before!)

Met up with the girls, didi, and dufus. It was nice seeing everyone as always.

I was wearing the Love Hoops from Macha Designs by niece…and unfortunately, the two members of the Triple D club were doing the same…I am not joining their club…
